The 3rd Social Priority Colloquium took place in Kolkata on the 8th and 9th of December, 2016 at the Institute Of Cost Accountants and Management of India. This initiative was undertaken by SOCEO, in collaboration with the Institute Of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).

On the first day, a panel of speakers presented a detailed and introspective analysis behind the endeavour. The speakers included CMA Manas Kumar Thakur, President of the ICAI, Sujoy Chatterjee, MD SOCEO Germany, Vijay Wadhwani, ChildFund India, CSR specialist CS Rupanjana De, EIRC of ICSI and Prof. Dr. Harald Meier from the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. In the post-lunch session, Olaf Iversen, the German Counsel General of Kolkata gave a special address in the capacity building workshop of the representatives of the ten selected NGOs/Social Entrepreneurs. 9th December started with an opening address by Sabina Pandey, Regional Director, Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC). Afterwards, the NGOs presented their projects ideas to CSR representatives from various organisations, such as ITC, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Peerless Securities, Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL), etc. The innovative project ideas included issues of livelihood, distress migration & trafficking, quality education, safe drinking water, etc. Following the presentations, the CSR representatives offered their insightful feedbacks on the project ideas. The final day of the Social Priority Colloquium in Kolkata was concluded by CMA D. P Nandy, Director Research, Journal & Examination of ICAI with a special vote of thanks.
