SPC Mumbai 2016

“Let me first congratulate you for organising Social Priority Colloquium very efficiently. Thanks for giving an opportunity to Hamara Foundation for participation in the Colloquium. It was a wonderful opportunity for NGOs to participate in the programme. […] NGOs could present better proposals next day before Corporates. The interaction between Corporates and NGOs on the second day was fruitful.”

Prof. Asha Rane, Hamara Foundation

“I would again like to compliment all of you for organising such a meaningful event.”

Kanika Pal, SoCHE

“We really enjoyed the event and made really well connects. Looking forward for more engagement opportunities.”

Rohit Nayak, EcoAd

The 2nd Social Priority Colloquium took place in Mumbai on March 1st & 2nd 2016. The Colloquium was held at the “Centre for Development of Corporate Citizenship”, at SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), who acted as the knowledge partner.

After the first day of capacity building and mentoring workshop with participating NGOs, the main event was inaugurated, on the second day, by representatives from the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, SPJIMR, and other partners. Ms. Namita Vikas, Group President & Country Head, Responsible Banking at YES Bank, shared with the audience her views on the CSR scenario in India. 11 selected NGOs and Social Entrepreneurs presented their project ideas in two concurrent corporate panels. It was followed by feedback sessions from the corporate representatives on the project ideas and their selections. Further joint discussions took place and continued through the lunch session, which concluded the event.
