SOCEO offers consulting and research services to NGOs, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and Development Agencies working globally to foster socio-economic empowerment of the underprivileged and impoverished section of the society. It is incorporated as a not-for-profit company in Germany and is active internationally through its filial agencies and partners.
Jörn Ziegler is one of the two Managing Directors of SOCEO gGmbH. He has a broad experience in the not-for-profit sector since three decades. Previous jobs include management positions with the International Society for Human Rights and World Vision Deutschland. Since 2001, Jörn Ziegler is CEO of ChildFund Deutschland. For a number of years, he served as a Board member of the ChildFund Alliance.
Sujoy Chatterjee is the Managing Director of SOCEO gGmbH. Previously, he has worked with ChildFund Deutschland in developing new program and implementation. Sujoy hails from India, before moving into the social sector he has spent a decade in managing Logistics for a leading Indian manufacturing company. Sujoy has deep interest in the area of entrepreneurship and in applying technology for social innovation.
Prof. Dr. Harald Meier
Prof. Dr. Harald Meier is the Academic Advisor of SOCEO. Prof. Meier holds the Chair in International Management at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. For decades he is involved in research and publishing on International Project Management & HRM. He has also spent many years in International Banking and in consulting NGOs worldwide. He has special focus on Consulting, Training, and Quality Management.
Dr. Werner Küpper
Dr. Werner Küpper is the Program Advisor to SOCEO He serves as the Director of Program & Projects of ChildFund Deutschland. He has spent more than a decade in developing, monitoring and implementing donor funded programs and projects across continents. Earlier he has worked as a senior Consultant.
Dr. Küpper is a Certified Trainer with specialization in Project management and Grant fundraising of public donor funds (grants).
Sarah joined the team of SOCEO after an internship for the organization in India. She is responsible for communication and partnership development for new ideas and projects. During the internship, she visited different projects of SOCEO and got to know the situation on site. She is interested in social entrepreneurship and is active since years in the EntrepreneurTalente e.V., an organization, which supports young people in their entrepreneurial interest and whose cofounder she is. Currently, she is finalizing her Master of Arts in the field of Development Anthropology at the University of Tübingen, Germany.
