Youth Entrepreneurship in Kenya

300 young Kenyans are being empowered to start their own entrepreneurial ventures and increase their employability in Lake Region at the shore of Lake Viktoria. In the context of this project Soceo’s Sustainable Livelihood Development Program – SLDP has been adapted to the specific need of the target group by introducing a ‘Market Opportunity Identification Study’ as a tool to assess the market and identify entrepreneurial opportunities.

The project is being supported by ChildFund Deutschland e.V. and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development. Soceo has conducted the Baseline Study, facilitated the implementation of SLDP and is consulting & monitoring SLDP related activities.
